This will also be our Fall All Sports Night and a special Elementary Recognition Night.
Reminder: all students can come to home games for FREE! CMS staff and their immediate family also get free admission with their CMS ID badge.


A volunteer training session will be held on Wednesday, October 16 at 6:30 PM in the boardroom at the Clovis Municipal Schools Central Office, located at 1009 N. Main St. All individuals who plan to volunteer this year are required to attend a training session before participating in any school activities.



Calendar Reminder: There will be no school for students October 10-13, 2025. Friday, October 10th will be a Data/PD Day for staff. All district offices will be closed on Monday, October 13th.

Military and First Responders Appreciation Night will be held this Friday, October 3, 2025. Military members and first responders will receive free admission to the game with a valid ID.
Come cheer on our Wildcats as they take on Las Cruces at 7 PM at Leon Williams Stadium!
CMS staff and students also receive free admission to home football games with their school ID. Elementary and Middle School students can attend free with a paid parent/guardian.


Volunteer training tonight at 6:30 in the boardroom of the district's administration building (1009 N. Main St). Training will last approximately 45 minutes. You will need to attend one of the volunteer training sessions before you may volunteer at a school.

Volunteers Needed
You are invited to join us for an upcoming volunteer training session. All volunteers are required to attend training before volunteering at a school campus or event. Sessions last around 45 minutes, and you only have to attend one session.

Students at Clovis High School and Clovis High School Freshman Academy will need to show their school ID for free admission. Students in middle and elementary school can have free entry if accompanied by a paying adult (parent/guardian).
Middle school students must be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian, and they must sit either in the assigned middle school section or with their parent/guardian.

Join us for the first-ever Clovis High School JV Wildcadette Dance tryouts.
Tryouts will be at the CHSFA Main Gym, 1400 Cameo Street, for students in grades 9-11.
Times for clinic and tryouts:
Tuesday, September 2, 4:15ā5:30 p.m.;
Wednesday, September 3, 4:15ā5:30 p.m.;
Thursday, September 4, with tryouts beginning at 4:15 p.m.
Participants must have a current physical, proof of insurance, be academically eligible, and wear appropriate clothes and shoes for dancing.

Practice is held on Monday and Tuesday at Ned Houk and at Clovis High School on Wednesday through Friday. Practices typically run from 7th period to 5:30 PM on most days.
Cross Country is open to students in 7-12th grade.
Students will need a sports physical and proof of insurance uploaded to RankOne before they can practice.

New Wireless Device Guidelines for 2025ā2026
To comply with a new state law, Clovis Municipal Schools has updated its rules for phones, tablets, smartwatches, smart glasses, and headphones/earbuds:
K-8: Off and out of sight during the school day
9-12: Off during class; allowed at lunch & before/after school
Staff: Use only for professional purposes during instruction
