There will be no school for students on Friday, March 14, 2025. This will be a data day for staff. District offices will be open. There will be no school on March 17-21, 2025. All district offices will be closed for Spring Break.
Advanced meals for Spring Break will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, March 12. Meals are available, while supplies last, from 8:30-10:30 AM from the following locations:

Alumni will be celebrated with a breakfast on April 26 at 8 a.m., followed by a three-point contest, skills contest, and a draft-style alumni game. Alumni should register individually using the QR code in the flyer.

Friday, March 14, 2025 will be a Data Day. A previous version of the calendar listed this day as a Parent-Teacher Conference Day.
There will be no school for students on this day; however, teachers and staff will be working and administrative offices will remain open.
While there are no scheduled parent-teacher conferences on March 14, parents who wish to meet with their child's teacher are encouraged to reach out directly to schedule a conference at a mutually convenient time.
Lockwood Early Childhood Center will be holding parent-teacher conferences for their 3Y and 4Y classes on March 14th.

Update: After thorough investigation in partnership with the Clovis Police Department, the Secure and Teach was lifted at 2:25 PM. Learning continued throughout the afternoon.
At approximately 11:30 AM, Friday, January 17, 2025, Clovis High School Freshman Academy was placed in Secure and Teach to allow for an investigation concerning written comments made by a student. Law enforcement has responded and is investigating in coordination with school administrators. At this time we donāt believe it is a credible threat, but out of an abundance of caution, we will maintain a police presence on campus.

The CHS boys' varsity basketball game against Portales on Friday, January 10, has been canceled due to inclement weather.


Important Announcement: Clovis Municipal Schools will be releasing students early today due to worsening weather conditions.
Friday, January 10, 2025 will be a remote learning day. All staff, including maintenance and custodial, will be remote for Friday. Students are expected to log in to Google Classroom at 9 AM to get the schedule for the day.
In partnership with the City of Clovis, and to allow them time to continue to clear major roadways, Clovis Municipal Schools will be releasing students at the following times:
Preschool/Elementary: 1:30 PM
Middle School: 2:00 PM
Secondary: 2:30 PM - Secondary student drivers are being released immediately.
