We loved welcoming our incoming 9th grade families to Parent Night! 🎉 What a great turnout! It was wonderful to see so many students and parents excited about the transition to CHSFA/CHS. We had lots of thoughtful questions about academics, extracurriculars, schedules, and how to make the most of freshman year. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. We’re looking forward to an amazing year with our future 9th graders! 💜🖤📚✨ If you missed out on this opportunity, be looking for information for another opportunity to attend later this semester. #FreshmanYear #ParentNight #Future9thGraders #HighSchoolReady

Purple Clovis High School informational graphic explaining high school academic opportunities. The headline reads, “High school gives you more choices than you might expect. These options help you challenge yourself, earn college credit, and prepare for your future.” Four sections are displayed on colored note-style backgrounds: Career Technical Education (CTE) Options: Explains students can explore career interests, earn industry credentials, and potentially go directly into the workforce after graduation. Programs listed include Early Childhood Development, Physical Health and Teaching Training and Facilitation, Agriculture Tech and Automation, Animal Systems and Plant Systems, Skilled Trades (Carpentry and Welding), Computer Graphics, Culinary and Food Services, Entrepreneurship and Small Business, IT and Support Services, Retail and Customer Service, Nursing Assistant, Accounting, Clothing I/II, Personal Finance, and Plainsman and Purple Press. Advanced Placement (AP) Classes: Describes college-level courses in subjects such as math, science, English, and history. Notes students can earn college credit with a passing AP exam score (3 or higher) and develop strong critical-thinking skills. Dual Credit Classes: Explains students can earn college credit while in high school through courses offered at Clovis Community College and online. Mentions pathways aligned to career goals, including Technical Education Programs and Allied Health Programs, and that AP can be combined with dual credit to meet student goals. Early College High School (ECHS): States students can earn a high school diploma and an associate degree or industry credential simultaneously. Includes eligibility (apply spring of 9th or 10th grade), location at Clovis Community College, ability to participate in most athletics and extracurriculars, and cost savings on time and tuition after graduation. Bottom section lists counseling contacts, including the CHS Head Counselor, ECHS Dean of Students, and several Grade Level Counselors, with Clovis Schools email addresses. Footer text encourages students to find the path that fits by choosing or combining options, matching pathways to goals and interests, and speaking with a school counselor to learn more and begin planning.
It’s CTE Month and our Construction students are getting after it! 🔨

Big-time energy at the gym Friday night! 🔥⚾🏀 Our CHS Baseball team stepped up in a huge way to support our CHS Basketball team by creating an awesome ESPN Game Day–style setup. From the desk to the commentary vibes, they made it feel like the big leagues right here at CHS! Even better — our younger Wildcats absolutely loved it. Seeing them smile, interact, and feel part of the game-day atmosphere is what CHS spirit is all about. 💜🐾 Proud of our athletes for showing that Wildcat support goes beyond just one sport. One school. One family. #CHSWildcats #GameDayVibes #WildcatPride #CHSBaseball #CHSBasketball

Clovis to the Super Bowl 🏈🔥💜🖤 Huge shoutout to Bryce Cabledue, Clovis High Class of 2020, who’s headed to the 2026 Super Bowl as a Seattle Seahawk! 💙💚 From dominating the field at Clovis High—where he starred in football and basketball, earned All-State honors in 2019, and was rated the #3 overall recruit in New Mexico—to grinding it out at the University of Kansas, Bryce’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. At KU, Bryce was an Honorable Mention All–Big 12 offensive lineman, appearing in 52 games and starting 50 for the Jayhawks. Drafted in the 6th round, he’s made the most of his opportunity in his rookie NFL season, already playing in 8 games for Seattle. Now? He’s on the biggest stage in football. Proof that hard work, consistency, and belief pay off. Clovis is proud. New Mexico is proud. Go get it, Bryce! 🏆🏈💪

📚❄️ Collaboration + Celebration in the CHS English Department! ❄️📚 Our CHS English teachers had a great time sharing a Snowballing classroom activity with colleagues—an engaging, interactive strategy that gets students writing, thinking, and collaborating in a fun way! We also took a moment to recognize Prescilla Garcia, our Staff Member of the Month 🌟 As Prescilla prepares to retire this month, we want to say thank you for her years of dedication, kindness, and impact on our school community. She will be missed greatly, but her legacy will live on at CHS! 💜🖤 Congrats, Prescilla, and thank you to our English team for always bringing creativity and heart to the classroom! #CHSEnglish #TeacherCollaboration #SnowballingActivity #StaffMemberOfTheMonth #HappyRetirement #ThankYouPrescilla

🌾💜 Clovis FFA Takes Santa Fe! 💜🌾
Our Clovis FFA seniors had the incredible opportunity to travel to Santa Fe for FFA Day at the Roundhouse, and it was an unforgettable learning experience! From seeing the legislative process up close to advocating for agricultural education, our members gained valuable insight that will stay with them well beyond the trip.

A huge thank you to Representative Reeb for taking the time to visit with our members and share his knowledge. We are also especially proud of Claire Palla, who had the honor of shadowing Rep. Reeb during the session—what an amazing experience!

Opportunities like this truly show the power of FFA and leadership in action. 🌟🐮🌱

Update on Incoming Call Procedures

In response to a recent increase in anonymous and unidentifiable phone calls to our schools, Clovis Municipal Schools is implementing a new measure to enhance campus safety. Effective immediately, any incoming calls that do not display a caller ID or appear as “anonymous” will be automatically blocked from reaching school campuses.

We understand that some callers may intentionally block their number for privacy, but in order to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, we must ensure that all communications can be properly identified and verified. We encourage anyone needing to contact a school to ensure their phone number is visible when calling.
