Clovis to the Super Bowl 🏈🔥💜🖤
Huge shoutout to Bryce Cabledue, Clovis High Class of 2020, who’s headed to the 2026 Super Bowl as a Seattle Seahawk! 💙💚
From dominating the field at Clovis High—where he starred in football and basketball, earned All-State honors in 2019, and was rated the #3 overall recruit in New Mexico—to grinding it out at the University of Kansas, Bryce’s journey has been nothing short of incredible.
At KU, Bryce was an Honorable Mention All–Big 12 offensive lineman, appearing in 52 games and starting 50 for the Jayhawks. Drafted in the 6th round, he’s made the most of his opportunity in his rookie NFL season, already playing in 8 games for Seattle.
Now? He’s on the biggest stage in football.
Proof that hard work, consistency, and belief pay off.
Clovis is proud. New Mexico is proud.
Go get it, Bryce! 🏆🏈💪

Update on Incoming Call Procedures
In response to a recent increase in anonymous and unidentifiable phone calls to our schools, Clovis Municipal Schools is implementing a new measure to enhance campus safety. Effective immediately, any incoming calls that do not display a caller ID or appear as “anonymous” will be automatically blocked from reaching school campuses.
We understand that some callers may intentionally block their number for privacy, but in order to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, we must ensure that all communications can be properly identified and verified. We encourage anyone needing to contact a school to ensure their phone number is visible when calling.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal Teams Inspire Next Generation at Clovis High School
Members of the US Army EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) unit stationed at Cannon Air Force Base recently visited Clovis High School to provide students with a hands-on look at one of the military's most high-stakes career fields. The technicians detailed the intense physical and mental rigors of the job, which requires not only technical expertise in identifying hazardous ordnance but also the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
Students were given a rare opportunity to step into the world of a "bomb tech," interacting with specialized protective gear and operating advanced EOD robots used to neutralize threats from a distance. The presentation highlighted the stringent requirements for the role, including high ASVAB scores and a grueling 36-week training pipeline at Eglin Air Force Base.
From test-driving EOD robots to checking out inert artillery and the iconic 80-lb bomb suit, students got a front-row seat to what it takes to be an EOD Specialist. 🛡️ Huge thanks to these professionals for sharing their expertise and inspiring our future leaders!
