Thank you to our CHS History department for bringing us a fantastic learning strategy to take back to our classrooms yesterday. The CHS History teachers shared with staff a strategy called linking language. This approach draws on studentsā prior knowledge, creativity, and writing skills across multiple genres. It allows students to use their different languages and unique perspectives to create stories or picture-based narratives connected to the subject we are studying in class. Linking language encourages learners to explore writing from different viewpoints while deepening their understanding of ideas,
Also, they were responsible for picking our very first staff appreciation. Joe Romero is one of our custodians, and WOW is he amazing! Joe, thanks for giving all the positive energy that you do to CHS. We appreciate you! šš¤š¾
