The CHS Basketball Team will be hosting a Split the Pot 50/50 Raffle at this Friday's Homecoming Football game.

Tickets are $1 for 1 ticket or $5 for 7 tickets. Tickets will go on sale at 5:30 PM and sales will stop right before halftime.

The drawing will be held after the halftime band performance.

All proceeds benefit the CHS Boys Basketball team.

We are thrilled to announce and congratulate our CHS Folklorico team for winning 1st place at the Portales Ballet Folklórico competition at Eastern New Mexico University!

They received the following prestigious awards:

Best Group Jr High/High School
First Place Overall

Yoxsan Caballero Alcantara won the Best Male Dancer award!

High School Culinary Students Showcase Skills Ahead of NM State Fair Competition Today, culinary students from CHS were invited to Guadalajara Restaurant to practice for the upcoming High School Culinary Competition at the New Mexico State Fair. In a timed challenge that mirrored competition conditions, students had 90 minutes to prepare traditional green chile stew along with fresh corn and flour tortillas entirely from scratch—cooking outdoors and in front of spectators just as they will at next week’s event. Their dishes earned high compliments from community members who stopped to watch and taste. We extend sincere appreciation to Guadalajara for hosting the students and providing this valuable platform to prepare for competition.
