Speech & Language Therapy Services

Articulation, voice, speech fluency, pragmatics/social language and receptive/expressive language therapy is provided for students (ages 3 - 22) in the Clovis Municipal Schools who qualify for services by a certified & licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or an Apprentice in Speech Language Pathology (ASL) with SLP supervision.

Augmentative/Assistive Communication supports are also provided as a related service, when appropriate. The continuum of speech and language therapy services includes evaluation and treatment, including specifically designed instruction in an individual and/or small group therapy session in the speech therapy room, inclusion in the classroom, and/or consultation with students' teachers. The goal is to facilitate student achievement through the development of each student's successful communication skills in the least restrictive environment in the educational setting.
