Clovis Municipal Schools Seeks Photos for Marshall Auditorium Photo Mural

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CLOVIS, NM – Clovis Municipal Schools is calling on the community to help preserve and celebrate the rich history of the arts in Clovis. As part of the ongoing renovation of Marshall Auditorium, the district is creating a mural that will feature photographs documenting the legacy of fine arts performances at Marshall. The mural will be prominently displayed in the auditorium's foyer, paying tribute to the building’s history.

The district invites community members to submit photos of public and student performances at Marshall Auditorium, as well as other fine arts events in Clovis. This includes musical, dance, theater, and visual arts events, as well as significant historical performances such as the Clovis Musical Festival, Clovis Community College Cultural Arts Series, Community Band concerts, and more.

The district prefers digital submissions, but those who require assistance can have photographs scanned at the Clovis Municipal Schools Central Office, at 1009 N. Main St.

Photos should be submitted by April 30, 2024, to m6gaid@clovis-schools.org. For questions or assistance, please contact Joe Strickland at 575-769-4300.
